About the 20-for-20 Program

The 20-for-20 Program is our way of celebrating Senator Obama’s commitment to running a campaign driven by people and communities – not lobbyists and consultants.  We seek to build a vast network of support based on the collective contributions of our entire community.  We challenge you to commit to raising a mere $20 each from 20 friends and family members ($400 total). 

With your hard work, we can achieve our goal of “One Lakh for Barack”: 100,000 South Asian donors – 50,000 in the primary campaign, and another 50,000 in the general election.

How It Works

1)	Send an email to safo2008@gmail.com with the subject line “SAFO Champion Form Request.”  We will then email you a Champion Form.
2)	Get 20 friends or family to contribute at least $20 each to the Obama campaign through SAFO .  Each time you secure a donor, enter that person’s name on your Champion Form (so we know it came from you).
3)	When you reach 20 donors, email the completed Champion Form to: safo2008@gmail.com.  Congratulations – you are now a SAFO Champion!  We will recognize you on our website and newsletter (if you wish).
